Radius Toothbrush Review – A Mom’s Honest Review of this Giant Toothbrush

My husband and I recently had the opportunity to review the Radius Toothbrush. Here are our thoughts on this larger-than-average toothbrush.

My husband and I each tried a Radius Toothbrush. He tried the Scuba Toothbrush and I tried the regular one.

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to brush your teeth with a wooly worm? Me too! Unfortunately, wooly worms are faster than they first appear. I could never seem to get one to hold still long enough to put the toothpaste on it.

When I brush my teeth I vent all my hatred for paper mache into it. The Scuba handled the onslaught of my inconsolable rage with flying colors.

The brush itself is probably a little larger than you are familiar with but you get used to it quickly. The amount of coverage it provides is great.

The angle of the body is also a little strange at first, but you realize how comfortable it is once you learn how to hold it for the different angles of your teeth. By the time I get done brushing it feels like I Turtle Waxed my teeth.

I love this toothbrush!

Mom’s Radius Original Toothbrush Review

I had the privilege of trying out the Radius Original Toothbrush.

I have to admit that when I first pulled it out of the box I thought, “oh my gosh, this toothbrush is huge! It’s made for someone with a giant mouth!”

The bristle area is so much bigger than the typical toothbrush. You know what though, after the first couple times of just getting used to the angle of the brush and how big it is, it really does feel good!

Also, I mean, yes, I try to brush my teeth for 2 minutes, 3 times a day, but what mother really always gets that done? The nice thing about having so many bristles is that I’m getting more bang for my brushing, every time I brush!

If you like to “Go Green” they have their Source line of toothbrushes which are 93% recycled material and 47% renewable resources. The original toothbrush is made from 100% Sustainable Yield Wood Source (Cellulose). 

They also have some nice organic silk dental floss that I got to sample. It’s got a great flavor!

I’m loving my toothbrush! The Radius toothbrushes get an A+ rating from both my husband and me.

PS My husband is not lying when he says that he broke his toothbrush while brushing! That was one of those “I-told-you-so” moments in our marriage. I was constantly telling him that he brushed his teeth too hard. He has the bristles frayed in no time flat. Well, that night I think he actually realized I may just be slightly right!
